The history of Goat Island Marine Discovery Centre
Goat Island Marine Discovery Centre (GIMDC) is a unique place where people of all ages can learn about the amazing underwater world. It is located on an island off the coast of New Zealand and is home to a wide variety of marine life. The centre was established in 1998 and has since become a popular tourist destination.
GIMDC offers a variety of educational programmes and activities that aim to raise awareness about the importance of conserving our oceans and the creatures that live within them. One of the most popular attractions at the centre is the daily dolphin feeding which gives visitors the opportunity to see these amazing animals up close.
